Friends of Storrs Library Book Sale

The Friends of Storrs Library (FOSL) cordially invites you to their annual Book Sale, which will take place on September 27, 28, and 29 at the Community House in Longmeadow. We deeply appreciate the ongoing support of the community, which has contributed to the tremendous success of this event over the years.

The Book Sale serves as the primary fundraising event for FOSL, and it has experienced remarkable growth over time. All funds generated from the Book Sale are dedicated to enhancing the library collection, supporting various programs, and furthering its role as a valuable community resource.

For those interested in donating books, kindly bring them to the Community House (735 Longmeadow St) from September 7th to September 21st, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours from 8 am to 4 pm. There will also be convenient Drive-Thru Drop-Off events on three consecutive Saturdays: September 7, 14, and 21, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Please keep in mind that we are unable to accept books that are dusty, torn, or moldy. Additionally, textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and outdated travel guides cannot be accepted. Furthermore, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs, and games are not eligible for donation, although puzzles are gladly accepted.
