Art Exhibit: Isabel Margolin

While wrestling with the idea of using my savings to either repair my roof or take an art class, I decided on the most sensible option: enroll in an art class. From a weekend course in mosaics, I forged on and was rewarded for my efforts, gaining both personal gratification and recognition of my work. I employ a method called “indirect,” whereby I place my tile face down on a board covered in sticky paper, then realize my pattern when I take the board and turn it over onto another board covered in cement. This can lead to amazing creations or a trip to my basement. I hope this exhibit inspires the artist in you.

Please visit the exhibit anytime the Betty Ann Low Meeting Room is available.
